Where to place the tripod in each room and shoot an entire property?

We recommend placing the tripod in the middle of the room as much as possible. If you get closer to the carpet or furniture during the shooting process, it may cause problems when connecting the panorama photos. Please also avoid getting too close to the wall, as this can increase the possibility of focus failure.

Tips on shooting small, medium, and large size rooms

1. Small-Sized Room (bathroom, laundry, etc)
   1. Place the tripod in the corner or at the doorway to capture the entire space.
   2. You can consider lowering the tripod slightly if needed to capture more details.

3. Medium-Sized Rooms (bedroom, kitchenette, etc)
   1. Place the tripod into the center of the room as much as possible. If there is furniture present, aim to shoot at a distance, preferably, one-step away from the furniture.
   2. The medium-sized room is suitable for representing the entire space with one single panorama.

5. Large-sized room (living rooms, kitchens, open layouts, etc)
   1. A large-sized room is suitable for taking a few more additional panoramas to combine into the entire space. 
• Tips on the order of shooting the panoramas
  • In order to easily connect the panoramas through hotspots in the future, we recommend including at least one other hotspot during shooting.
    • Important: Ensure each location you shoot can view at least one other shooting location. This is called line of sight. This allows our AI to assemble and connect tours together.

  • Preview your results after each shooting?
    
    • We recommend to preview your shot results after each individual shot. If you are not satisfied with the photo, you can adjust and retake it. After confirming that there isn’t any problem, you can then move to the your next shooting spot.
  • Save or delete the panorama?
    • After you shoot a panorama, you can save it if the quality is good. You also have the option to delete it if the quality is bad. Taking too many panorama shots will cost you a significant amount of time during the selecting and uploading process. We recommend to only keep the ones that you will be using.
  •  Name the panorama?
    • We recommend you name each panorama after it has been taken. This will help you quickly recall the scene which you just shot when editing numerous shots. It is also very helpful for connecting different scenes.
